HCL ME 06 netbook launched in India

HCL has launched a new 3G enabled ME series netbook in India – HCL ME 06. This netbook is energy star 5.0 certified and comes with numerous useful utilities like:
- LOCK ME: prevents from data theft
- ENCRYPT ME: allows user to encrypt their data
- SECURE ME: lock any application
- SPLIT ME: to share a file of any size
Price of HCL ME 06 is priced at Rs 19,990. The HCL ME 06 netbook comes with an Atom N270 processor, 3G SIM card slot, Windows XP Home, 160GB HDD, 1GB RAM, 10.1-inch screen, 1024×600, Intel 945 chipset. Comes equipped with a 6-cell battery (5 hours 15 minutes).
Ports: multi-card reader. LAN port, Kensington lock port, 3 USB 2.0 ports, earphone and microphone port.
HCL is targeting it for young people and to support on the go lifestyle of business executives. ME 06 comes with 1 year warranty
