Wind L2100 is the latest offering from MSI. The MSI Wind L2100 is one of the few netbooks in town that come with an AMD NEO processor instead of usual Atom processor that you see in almost netbook out there.

The MSI L2100 has a 12.1-inch display with 16:9 display ratio. The display is glossy so might have a hard time reading text on the display in direct sunlight. The resolution is 1366×768 which makes everything appear very crisp. It is hard to believe that this netbook costs less than half than what the SONY VAIO X costs: $459 (Rs22,000).

The LID is glossy and catches finger prints easily.

It also features an HDMI port which means that you can connect to your HD TV too and will also let you watch all that HD content stored on the HDD of L2100 on that big screen of your TV.

The keyboard of the L2100 is nice. However, we feel that the right shift key could have been a bit bigger.

On the right side, you will earphone jack, microphone jack, 2 USB ports and multi-card reader following by LAN and Kensington lock.

On the left side, you will find the AC adapter, VGA port, HDMI port and USB port.

It has 250GB HDD for storage and 2GB RAM for running apps and OS. The MSI WIND L2100 comes with a 6-cell battery that should easily give you 4-5 hours of wireless productivity without a problem
